The American guard joins the Catalan giants after an impressive EuroLeague debut season with Paris, adding scoring and playmaking to Barcelona’s backcourt.

Barcelona has officially announced the signing of Justin Robinson, with the American guard putting pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Catalan club.

The 28-year-old becomes the latest addition to Barcelona’s roster as the team continues to strengthen its backcourt ahead of the new season.

Robinson arrives after an impressive first EuroLeague campaign with Paris Basketball, where he quickly established himself as one of the team’s most productive players.

During the 2025/26 EuroLeague season, the American guard averaged 14.6 points and 4.5 assists per game in 18:58 minutes, appearing in 36 games.

The move to Barcelona represents another important step in Robinson’s European career. Before joining Paris, he had experience in several different basketball environments, including the NBA, where he played for the Washington Wizards, Oklahoma City Thunder, Milwaukee Bucks, Sacramento Kings, and Detroit Pistons.

He also played internationally with the Illawarra Hawks in Australia, while his European career included spells with BreoGán in Spain and Trapani in Italy.

After successfully completing his medical examinations, Robinson shared his excitement about joining the Catalan club:

“It is an honor to have the opportunity to play for an incredible and historic club like Barça. I am very grateful and very happy.”

With Robinson’s arrival, Barcelona adds a dynamic guard capable of creating for teammates, attacking defenses, and providing additional offensive firepower as the club prepares for another demanding EuroLeague campaign.
